Monitor Arms 101

Maybe you just bought your first computer and you're wondering what kind of cool stuff you can get to go along with it.  One of the many accessories available is a monitor arm.  Here are the basics of computer monitor arms and why you might – or might not – need one.

Basically, your computer has three parts:  the monitor (that screen you look at), the keyboard (the thing you type on), and the CPU (if it's a PC, then it's the heavy box that sits on the floor – the new Apples don't have separate CPUs).

The monitor is what sits on your desktop.  Depending on the style and size of your computer desk or table, the monitor could be placed in several different places.  It's important that you put it in the correct place.  A correctly placed monitor should be about 18 – 21 inches away from you and the center of the monitor should be at eye-level.  You should never have to tilt your head up or down to look at the screen.

Okay, so if you have a computer desk that allows you to correctly place the monitor, you might not need a monitor arm, but I suggest you read on anyway.  If you can't put your monitor in the correct place, you should consider getting a monitor arm.  A monitor arm mounts to the back of your flat screen monitor and also mounts someplace on your desk, or the wall next to your desk.  The "arm" allows you to move the monitor up or down, left or right, and tilt the monitor forward or backward with the touch of a finger.  This allows you to minimize glare (even if there are windows in front or behind you) and also allows you to move your chair from side to side and still see the monitor (for example—if you help your child with homework, you can pull up an extra chair and slide the monitor over so one person can see it more clearly than the other.  If there are multiple family members using the same computer, it also allows each person to adjust the monitor according to their comfort level with a quick touch.

There are different types of monitor arms.  Besides the way they mount, the arms also do different things.  Some arms hold two monitors, some only support one.  Some arms rotate 180 degrees, some do not rotate at all. Some are longer, some are shorter.  We found an impressive variety of monitor arms at Versa Products, Inc.

One of the most valuable features of a monitor arm, aside from comfort and ergonomics, is that by attaching your monitor to a monitor arm, you won't have a large, bulky monitor taking up space on your computer table or desk.  When you aren't using the computer, you simply push the monitor aside and have 100% of your desktop for useable writing or organizing space.  This helps protect the monitor and prevents clutter from building up on the desktop.

The no non-sense way to make money. Build your own Adsense Empire

Tired of the bull.. No fluff lets get into this, and make real money.

Webmasters who are in the know. Are aware that Adsense generates a sizeable source of additional advertising income.

Which is why most of them use it to go after high paying keywords. They have special lists that tells them what the keywords are and have already used various methods of identifying them.

And yet, after putting up these supposed-to-be high paying keywords into their pages, the money they expected to come rolling in is not really coming in.

So. What seems to be the problem?

Having the pages with the proper keywords is wonderful. But driving visitors to those pages is a whole different ball game.

From the old school guys who've been around since the early days. To the new school guys who have learned from the oldies mistakes to jump into the game early and make big bucks from the start. What do we all need?

Say it with me now.. Traffic! very good class.

You see, the key to your success online in anything, and especially when it comes to making money with adsense is traffic. Learn it, Live it, Prosper.

So How can I get some?

Well, first lets optimize our pages with meta tags for keywords, descriptions, titles. Some people who read this will say to themselves (duh). You'll also come across those who will say, "Bah, meta tags are so outdated, no search engines use them anymore." Well, I say, it is better to be with it and not need it, than to be without it and in need.

You'd be surprised at the number of people who just completely ignore this step. Those guys must have fat wallets to pay for ads during popular TV shows, and run $1,000 a day ad campaigns with the various online advertising companies.

But for the wise, the best kind of traffic is FREE traffic, and the only way you're going to get free traffic is if your pages are able to be easily found by the search engines.

You optimize your pages, so that your pages can clearly communicate to the search engines web crawlers, what your page is about. So that they can properly determine who to show your results to. That is what they are after. Search engines want to provide their users with relevant content for the results that they're searching for. So give them what they want, and they will give you what you need. Do it, and do it right. 5 minutes of optimization can end up being the difference between 10,000 visitors and 1 visitor. You.

Now, lets stop for a moment and think about how visitors are using your web site.

After a visitor has landed on a certain page, they have the tendency to click on another page that sounds interesting. They get there because of the other links that appear on a page that they initially landed on.

This is called site navigation. It is all about enabling visitors to move about your site. And one important way of maximizing your earnings.

A typical web site will have menu links on each page. The wording on the links is what grabs a visitors attention and gets them to click on one of the links that will take them to another page of that web site. Links that have "free" or "download" are oftentimes good attention-grabbers.

*Tip time.*  (There are people selling information like I'm about to give you for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Maybe I'm foolish? Here's some knowledge on me. You're welcome.)

This navigation logic can also be applied to driving traffic to your high paying pages. There are some web sites that are getting a lot of traffic from search engines, but have low earnings. The trick is to try and use some cleverly labeled links to get the visitors off those pages and navigate them to the higher earning ones.

This is one great way of turning real cheap clicks to real dollars. Are you paying attention?

You can also use graphics to grab your readers attention. Some people may think this is a little sneaky, those people must live off of daddy's trust funds. Trust me. There is no limitation to what you can do to make your link noticeable.

If you are after the success of your site, you will do everything it takes to achieve that goal.

Be creative. As far as many Adsense advertisers are concerned, there are no written and unwritten laws to follow regarding what they write. Take what you do seriously!

As long as you do not overstep the guidelines of the search engines, then go for it.

You're going to want to learn everything you can about the Adsense program itself though.

I'll tell you more about that in a second.

Now for the most important thing, content. The best web sites are the ones that appear to be updated often, and ran by people who are passionate about their topics.

You want visitors.

Give them a reason to come, and give them a reason to come back.

Master this, and you'll be envied by all of your friends.

So, now you're just about ready to start building your own Adsense Empire.

Or are you?

Become a money making machine. Be the envy of your friends. Make a full-time living from your home, doing something you love.

To find out more. Come visit my web site. Build your own Adsense Empire.

Hey, I can only do so much. I'll give you the information and then some. But it is up to you to apply it.

Have a dream. Gain the knowledge. Then get off your butt, and get to work.

Best of luck everyone.

5 Reasons to Send Business Christmas Cards

The holiday season will soon be upon us, which means that it's time for businesses to start thinking about Christmas cards. If you've never sent business holiday cards, or don't make a point of sending them out every year, here are five reasons why you should start:

1. Meet Expectations. Although the adage, "It's better to give than to receive," is a sentimental favorite, those with whom you do business expect to be remembered during the holidays. Holiday greeting cards help smooth your business relationships during the rest of the year by meeting expectations during the Christmas season.

2. Improve Customer Relations. Whether you have a business-to-business enterprise, provide a professional service, or own a retail store, chances are that your success is built upon maintaining relationships with your customers and clients. Christmas cards show your customers and clients that you appreciate their business, and that you want to share the spirit of the season.

3. Cost Effective. Perhaps you already buy holiday gifts and remembrances for your best customers or clients, but business holiday cards allow you to reach many more people for relatively little money. You can purchase personalized business holiday cards for as little as $1.40 each, including options to select among many different styles and verses, several colors of ink, and imprinted envelopes. This is an excellent investment in your business.

4. Excellent Return on Investment. Chances are, you and your company receive business Christmas cards from your vendors and suppliers. So, you understand the warm feelings that arise when you read their holiday cards, and you probably experience a "carryover" positive impression when you do your purchasing in the New Year. If you doubt that business holiday cards generate an excellent return on investment, ask yourself this: All other things being equal, which company would you choose to do business with - the company that sent you a holiday card every year or the company that only contacted you when it was time to reorder or collect payment?

5. Limitless Choices. With the rise of Internet and ecommerce, companies have an unprecedented opportunity to select business Christmas cards that reflect their company's image and values. The best online sources for business holiday cards have a wide variety of high quality card designs. In addition, the best online greeting card companies offer a free choice of verse, free coordinated foil-lined envelopes, free samples of Christmas cards, and a multitude of choices for personalization.

In today's business world, you need to take advantage of every opportunity to differentiate your company from your competition. Sending business Christmas cards is a small gesture than can mean improved customer relationships and an excellent return on investment. You really can't afford not to send holiday cards to your customers, clients, and associates.

Real Estate Agents Using The Internet

Only a few real estate agents have worked out how to use internet  technology to their advantage, most agents still operate in the pre internet mode. Things are slowly changing but it is taking some time to catch on.

There is more than one way to use the net to your advantage if your selling and dealing with large numbers of people through both the listing and selling stages of a real estate transaction. Building and maintaining a good database can be to some extent set on auto pilot as people can opt in and opt out of the process online via the website interface.

Agents and marketers are now waking up to the value of using video to showcase properties via their websites although this has been around for a while Youtube has made things much easier. Websites such as fastrealestate.net offer a free blogging platform for agents and real estate professionals and this gives agents a big advantage over many traditional classifieds websites as blogs offer many more options when it comes to details and features.

They also offer instant benefits in the search engines and syndicated data for users to subscribe into, more agents are only now working out the real advantages of the platform, its still a very  good time to get in early and stamp your authority on a niche area via a blog.

Real estate is still a per son to person business but in order to reach the top the smart agents have adapted quickly to the new marketing angles enabled by the net. What kind of agent are you dealing with?

How do I communicate with my virtual assistant?

A very valid question but also a very easy one to answer. First, you must remember that your professional virtual assistant is a human being, just like you, and just like someone who may sit in the office right next to you. She has feelings, morals, standards, kids, pets, and a life - just like you.

While I can't speak for other virtual staffing agencies, at Team Double-ClickSM, we go to great pains to be sure our clients can communicate directly and openly with their virtual assistants. This ability is vitally important to any business relationship and especially that of a businessperson and his or her assistant. Without that communication, there is no exchange of ideas and tasks.

We do monitor communication between our virtual staff and our clients, but this is simply the mechanics of our business model in motion. We monitor these communications to first be sure the communications are there and second so that we can step in if we spot a problem or see something that can be done more efficiently. However, we encourage our clients to get to know their virtual assistants on a personal level as well. As with any relationship, the better you know one another, the better you'll be able to anticipate one another's moves, needs, and pet peeves. Now that the "why" is out of the way, we can talk about the "how".

Of course, there are several options for communicating tasks, assignments, and other matters to your virtual assistant:

E-Mail is a very effective mode of communication when working virtually. It allows you to quickly attach a file and send it to your virtual assistant so that she may make changes, print a letter and mail it, or keep it as a reference. Be sure to talk to our Client Services Rep Denise Schrock or your virtual administrative assistant if you need help attaching and sending files.

Using the telephone to communicate with your virtual assistant, while obvious is quite underutilized and so simple to do. Tired of looking up your virtual assistant's phone number each time? Simply program her phone number into your office phones and cell phone's speed dial. One-touch dialing your virtual administrative assistant is a snap and no harder than buzzing a bricks-and-mortar assistant in the next room

Instant messenger is another example of a wonderful technology, which is underutilized when it comes to communicating with virtual assistants. There are several excellent instant messaging programs and they're so easy to use.

IM programs to check out:

Yahoo: http://messenger.yahoo.com

MSN: http://im.live.com/messenger/im/home/?source=MSNTDLINK

AOL: http://www.aim.com

ICQ: http://www.icq.com

With an instant messaging program you can, with just a couple clicks of the mouse, type messages back and forth with colleagues and your virtual assistant - all in real time. You type, she types, and before you know it, the questions you and she had are all answered and you can move on.

Caution - time wasting opportunity: It's easy to get hooked into "chatting" with someone on IM, which can soak up a lot of time. IM should be used for quick questions and quick answers, and then back to your tasks. IM was not meant to take the place of the telephone for giving lengthy instructions or holding very involved e-versations.

Snail mail, while very retro, it is sometimes necessary. With so many technologies at our fingertips these days, there's very little use for snail mail except for the most formal of business communications, marketing mailings, or sending supplies to your virtual assistant.

Faxing your virtual assistant is also a popular means of communicating tasks and lists to your professional virtual assistant. However, if the items you're intending to send via fax are in electronic (editable) format already - it's best to send it as a file attachment. That way your virtual assistant doesn't need to retype everything and spend unnecessary client dollars. Check out eFax at www.efax.com for the latest in electronic faxing - there's almost no need for a landline fax anymore.

VOIM (voice over instant messenger) is my new favorite communications toy. What VOIM allows you to do is simply pull up your instant messaging program, click your virtual assistant's name, click the call button, and voila, it rings through the computer to her. Once the connection is established (which only takes a second or two) you can talk with your virtual assistant through the computer - no phone line involved). You can then quickly delegate tasks, give instructions, or ask questions without stopping to look up her phone number, and without typing out a lengthy email. At Team Double-ClickSM, we've begun implementing the Yahoo! VOIM program and with wonderful results. If you'd like to give it a try, go to http://messenger.yahoo.com and download the software - it's ridiculously easy to use and best of all, it's free!

Just keep in mind that VOIM will only work with other people who download the newest version of the Yahoo! software and have a microphone and speakers on their computer.

There are many great ways to communicate needs, likes, dislikes, tasks, and training to your virtual assistant. It's all a matter of personal preference and what you're most comfortable using. Professional virtual assistants are flexible and will be happy to use whatever mode of communication you prefer. As technology advances even further, well, who knows how we'll be communicating next year or even next month!

Equipments necessary for starting a business in the production of labels

The labels cover a large range of products for which they are destined, and this determines the existence of several types of label creation according to the type of printing used.

From the point of view of the printing type used, the labels are of two types: self-adhesive labels which, when packing the products , are taken from the roll, where is used printing on the flexographic machine and the non-self-adhesive labels where the offset printing equipments are used.

For creating the labels using the flexographic printing, first of all, you must acquire a technological line of flexographic plates fabrication , the most indicated being a computer to plate system which transposes the files processed by pre-press directly on the photopolymer plate.

The flexographic printing machine is also necessary, printing the labels with a number of at least 6 groups of colour, and with the optimal maximum printing format  chosen in such a manner that, according to the estimations made initially, it ensures a maximum productivity. The flexographic printing machine must have attached upon elimination all the components which allow the achievement of all the necessary finishing: UV varnishing, die-cutting, metallic foil stamping.

For the labels achieved with sheetfed printing, first of all it is necessary to include in the investment plan the sheetfed printing press with at least 6 groups of color and with the maximum print format dimensioned according to the estimates resulted from the market study made before the investment begins.

As for any other sheetfed printing , a guillotine is also necessary, with the maximum opening in accordance with the format of the printing machine, the range of formats which can be cut at this type of equipment must be as large as possible, to be able to reach minimum formats which are as little as possible. It is very important that guillotine be programmable as regards the formats of label which it can cut, because there is increased productivity.

If in the last group, the printing machine cannot ensure the UV varnishing, it is very important to have an UV varnishing equipment at least separately. We can either choose special equipment for this, or an adaptation formed from a classic sheetfed printing machine which lacks the humidification and an UV  drying equipment which is placed at the machine elimination.

Also regarding the labels achieved with a sheetfed printing, a metallic foil stamping equipment which can be automatic, semiautomatic or manual according to the dimensions chosen for the business, will be also necessary . For the processing of labels which don’t have a rectangular form, a tunnel puncher whose maximum dimension of processing must be chosen according to the target market that we refer to.

Week after week, year after year

Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them.

Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it'd be because they had high - traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I'd know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I'd make daily with their programs. Maybe you've already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered.

I decided I'd look through the all of the "get rich quick" programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section.

In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn't care less about their customers since they didn't offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work.

I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying!

Their programs have excellent prices, and the authors have a group of paid staff who are dedicating to helping you or providing assistance if you need any. I must say I was amazed! If you do decide to purchase any of the programs listed below, I recommend you join quickly. Most of the owners tell me they are getting an overwhelming number of sales and plan on raising prices in the near future, so order while prices are still low!

How To Find The Perfect Wholesale Business For You

There are many types of wholesale businesses. You need to find the right one that fits your style, your character, interests and personality. This article will help you find the different types of wholesale businesses so you can pick the right one for you.

Not all wholesale businesses are created equal. There are many types of wholesale businesses, probably too many to mention. Every item that is sold or produced could be sold at wholesale prices. For our article we’ll go over businesses that have a relatively easy barrier of entry. In other words, you don’t need $100 million dollars to start them.

First of all, let’s list some of the businesses with easy entry. A wholesale business with an easy level of entry is a business that you can start with a reasonable amount of money depending on how large you want to launch the business. For example, if you are a one person operation you could start it for less than $1,000. If you want a large business you can get the same type of business and add more inventory, employees, vehicles, warehouses, etc.

OK, so what types of businesses can you start or purchase? Well, there are many types of businesses that involve the wholesale trade, here are some examples:

--Manufacturing--

After you manufacture goods you have to sell them to wholesalers, retailers or directly to the public. This involves wholesale or distribution, or both.

--Importing--

Everything about importing spells wholesale. You have to negotiate with oversees manufacturers, transport the products to the USA, get brokers to import products, warehouse goods, and sell and ship products to your wholesale or retail customers.

--Wholesalers--

Wholesalers are usually importers or people who buy from importers or manufacturers to sell to other wholesalers or distributors, then normally don’t sell to retail stores. Wholesalers specialize in getting good products and supplying them to wholesale distributors, cash and carry’s and even exporters.

--Cash and Carry--

Cash and Carry businesses are stores that buy at wholesale prices and sell mostly to very small wholesale distributors or wagon jobbers and to small retail stores like liquor stores or gas stations. They have a warehouse or store front where customers drive up and buy their products. They usually don’t deliver any products.

--Online Sales--

Online sales are a large part of the modern wholesale trade. Many wholesalers sell online nowadays. You can add online sales to your business by simply selling your current products from your websites or other websites or you could even start a business around online sales. If you start a business selling online you simply need a good supplier, a decent shopping cart and you also need to accept credit cards. The rest is getting the right people to your site, or marketing.

--Brokers—

Brokers differ from the other types of distributors in that they normally don’t buy products, they just sell them. They never take possession of the merchandise; they don’t have warehouses, trucks and many times don’t even have offices. They just sell and get commission from the sales. Being a broker is perfect for someone without a lot of money to buy products or someone with great contacts in a particular industry. For example, if you work or used to work at a large retail store you can use your contacts to sell products from other companies. You then get anywhere from 1% to 10% of the sales depending on the type of merchandise.

--Wholesale Distributors--

Wholesale Distributors can be manufacturers or importers too. Wholesale Distributors tend to sell to several customers including wholesalers and retailers. They are the most popular type of wholesaler and usually sell everything including food, beverage, consumer goods, cars, chemicals, and most products out there. They can have warehouses and trucks or drop ship products. They can sell to restaurants, manufacturing plants, retail stores, governments or to other wholesalers.

Forex Expert Advisors–Living Up To The Hype?

As the Forex market gets more and more attention with the deficit of the dollar looming, so are the Expert Advisors that drive the more powerful players of the Forex game.

Why do 90% of forex traders lose?  Traders are humans and like all humans, we suffer from greed. Like all humans, in crucial moments (or market conditions) we lack confidence, we have fear of what might happen and most importantly, we are usually (90% of the time) - inconsistent.

Taking this into consideration, 90% of traders WILL LOSE MONEY IN FOREX. They will consistantly give away their money to the other 10%.  This, together with the illusion of

becoming millionaires overnight trading some "guru's" trading system from an ebook, is what keeps the Forex market a great business for Forex brokers and the so called guru's.

An Expert Advisor is a "robot". Robots beat humans at chess and they beat humans at trading.  An EA robot will watch the market for you, placing trades under certain

parameters (strategies), avoiding the fear, greed, lack of confidence and inconsistency which characterises most traders.

The Expert Advisor has a plan. It sticks to it no matter what, no matter how ugly or uncertain the market looks. It has no greed and will be running 24 hours a day for you.

Some quick highlights of the Kiss Trading System:

* Requires no technical indicators

* Uses a "Set and Forget" strategy to free up your time

* Makes only 1 trade per day at the same exact time

* Requires only 3 minutes per day (or less)

* Is fully automated with a metatrader Expert Advisor (EA)

* No losing month for over one year

* Averages +75 to +150 pips per month

* Average returns of 5-25% per month
