How to Use E-Mail "Cold Calls" Without Falling into the SPAM Trap!

"Spammers have just about destroyed e-mail as a legitimate selling tool, but there are still ways you can use it to open communication rather than shutting it down right off the bat. E-mail is still a totally appropriate way of communicating with someone -- as long as you use language that doesn't trigger the "salesperson" stereotype."

First, we'll take a close look at one example of a "cold introduction" e-mail that uses the traditional sales mindset.

Then we'll apply the Unlock The Game™ mindset so you can get an idea of how to create e-mails that won't trigger the negative "salesperson," or even "spamming salesperson," stereotype.

On the surface, it looks innocent enough, but take a moment and ask yourself what your instant reaction would be if it arrived in your e-mail box.

The problem is that this message violates the core principles of the Unlock The Game™ mindset by creating the impression that the sender's only concern is making a sale. How?

There is a better way.

Here's the same e-mail, but rewritten from the Unlock The Game™ mindset.

How do you think you would react if you received this e-mail?

Perhaps you would give a sigh of relief because you wouldn't be feeling any sales pressure from this stranger you've never met.

This example shows that, even though e-mail is basically an impersonal one-way form of communicating, the Unlock The Game™ mindset can humanize the connection.

When you give prospects a chance to respond to your request for help, you increase the possibilities for two-way communication and trust-building.

"Always pay attention to how words and phrases that are typical of the traditional selling mindset can make you come across as a spammer," I told Janice.

You might want to start reviewing your e-mails to prospects.

Does your message focus on discussing you and your solution, instead of your prospects' issues or problems?

If you start to rethink and change your language, you may find yourself with more sales than you thought possible.

The basic principle is simple: Avoid self-sabotaging sales language.

A few weeks later, Janice reported back to me that she had been getting much more favorable responses, leading to more phone conversations with new prospects.

Try it yourself -- and do let me know how it goes.

Getting in the Door: How I got my first Recruiting Job in Boston

The year 2005 must have been a slow one for recruiting agencies; at least it felt that way as I stumbled from interview to interview never quite landing the job. I don’t know why I suddenly decided to quit my sales job and become a recruiter, its just like a childhood dream that you never quite knew about that suddenly awakes and throws you into something interesting.

My first encounter with a staffing agency had been in 2004, specifically with Creative Financial Staffing in Boston. A buddy of mine facilitated the hire that ended 3 week later with a pleasant “they will not be requiring your services” phone call from the recruiter. Apparently, I had dug up some really nasty collections issue that the supervisor did not want revealed (true story confirmed by insider).

So fast forward to 2005…

The summer was hot, maybe because I was running around in a nice suite from agency to agency trying to build a case why a young hard working graduate from Brandeis is a good bet. Yet I kept falling on my face. My Dad had bought me a really nice suit to help me out, but it just wasn’t doing it for me.

I interviewed with Robert Half, where the manager was the biggest ass you will ever meet, his name was Luke and he later became the division head of that great company. He told me I was a job hopper and that if I could hold on somewhere for more then a year to call him back. I actually did. This was just out of curiosity, by that time I had 35 people billing for me and had absolutely no desire to ever join Robert Half. But I digress…

I interviewed at Winter& Wyman in Waltham(later they tried to directly recruit me) then I went across the street to Sullivan & Cogliano. Undeterred, I interviewed at KNF&T in Boston, what amazed me about that company was the utter lack of men… anywhere. I managed to sneak into Sapphire for an unrelated job and tried to sell myself to the technical recruiter there by telling her that what I really wanted was “ to do what you do”. That must have freaked her out, recruiting being the competitive kill or be killed that it is J.

Then there was Maxim Staffing, they had a hole in the wall office, then to Apex Systems, better office still no offer. There was Ascent Consulting and lunch with my Dad who works in the same office park…. Then Resource Options in Needham, the way they described who they placed really turned me off.

I even interviewed at Time Warner for a collections job! Now I hate collections and anything to do with accounting and cubicle desk jobs, but hey, desperate times call for desperate measures! I went to, a reputable startup thinking they might take me for a sales guy, but alas, I didn’t come across as one.

And finally, when I despaired, and decided that maybe the world of recruiting had turned really was not for me, I interviewed at Total Technical Services in Waltham. I thought the interview went well, but just in case, I got myself a server job at the local Ground Round. This was something I wanted to do anyhow, just to level with everyone else who had done it. It seemed like such an All American thing to do. Kinda like joining the Army 5 years before!!

So I trained for 5 shifts and on the 6th shift they told me “sorry buddy, you’re not picking this up fast enough, we’re gonna have to let you go.” Holy crap! I just graduated from one of the best schools in the US and I wasn’t picking it up fast enough? That warm fuzzy feeling from before about the Ground dissipated rather quickly…

So here I was, 24 years old, no money, no job, and my Dad was wondering why he just paid an extortionist amount of money to Brandeis! Seems funny now… wasn’t funny then. I had been job searching for 2 months with nothing to shop but a pink slip from the Ground Round of all places!

To the rescue came a phone call from Total Technical saying that they wanted to bring me onboard! To say that I was pleased would be one hell of an understatement. Even the fact that they were offering $9.33/h with a 10k draw didn’t dampen my enthusiasm… I got in the door!!

Here Is Your Money-Back Guarantee

Everybody would love to make lots of money quickly, working from home, and only doing a few hours of work per week. I've spent the past two years trying to find a great way of doing this. Only over the course of the past few months have I found any "get rich quick" programs worth buying. I've been trying to make money online for a long time. I had a few small websites, but they never made much more than a few hundred per month. It was easy money and didn't require much work on my part, but I knew there were people out there doing better than I was and I knew I could do as well as them.

Now, I've seen a lot of "get rich quick" programs. Most of these people make claims about earning $2000/day with Google or something similarly insane. Almost all of these people are complete liars. Even if they were making $2000/day with Google AdSense, it'd be because they had high - traffic websites with a lot of quality content. I'd know, because in one whole month, I never even made half of what they promised I'd make daily with their programs. Maybe you've already been scammed by one of these fraudsters. Anyway, I finally got sick of what was being offered.

I decided I'd look through the all of the "get rich quick" programs I could find and see if there were any that were actually legitimate. I found that there were owners selling their programs for well over $100, but the information in them could be found almost anywhere online for free. Additionally, they all contained out-of-date information, had no e-mail support, no money back guarantees, and broken links in the downloads section.

In conclusion, almost all of the programs I found were completely useless. The owners knew it, but they couldn't care less about their customers since they didn't offer refund policies! Amazingly, while looking through all of the programs, I actually did find a few legitimate programs. They were run by ordinary people like you and me, and they had found some great methods of making money from their home by doing very little work.

I spent some time working with those programs, and my income is now ten times what it used to be. These programs provided a large amount of great information on how to make extra money on your computer doing very little work. Numerous customers had provided great feedback and reviews for their products. Many of them have started to make money just days after buying!

Their programs have excellent prices, and the authors have a group of paid staff who are dedicating to helping you or providing assistance if you need any. I must say I was amazed! If you do decide to purchase any of the programs listed below, I recommend you join quickly. Most of the owners tell me they are getting an overwhelming number of sales and plan on raising prices in the near future, so order while prices are still low!

2.     To Your Online Success,

Perk Up Your Smile — And Maybe Your Paycheck

There might be more truth than you think to the term "million-dollar smile." Research has found evidence of a possible connection between your appearance and how much is in your paycheck.

In a study released by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, researchers found that good-looking people tend to earn 5 percent more an hour than their less attractive cohorts.

Other studies suggest that a smile is a major factor in the overall impression a person makes on the job, during a job interview and in social situations outside the workplace.

Virtually all Americans say a smile is an important social asset, according to a study conducted for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, while 74 percent say an unattractive smile can hurt a person's chances for career success.

"A dentist from Philadelphia we trained had a patient who reported his income went up 27 percent the year after getting a smile makeover," said Dr. Bill Dickerson, founder of LVI Global, where dentists come from around the world to learn the latest aesthetic techniques.

A bright, genuine smile exudes confidence, strength and a willingness to open up to others. Conversely, if you are self-conscious about your smile, it might affect the way you carry yourself, the way you communicate with others and, ultimately, your job performance.

But the truth is, few people are born with perfect smiles. The fabulous smiles you see on TV and in magazines often are the results of cosmetic dentistry.

But you don't have to be rich and famous to have your own million-dollar smile. There are many options, from smile whitening to repairing, straightening or replacing teeth. Many procedures can be completed in two to three visits.

However, finding the best dentist to initiate the transformation is a major key to the process. It's important to choose a dentist who is trained specifically in the procedure you are seeking and keeps up with changes in the field, Dickerson said.

Life Coaching Career Advice – Finding The Career For You

There are several management training considerations when determining how to motivate people.

What do you want from them?

Whether you are trying to motivate someone to do more of something, stop doing something, or change something, most motivation is about behavioral change. This type of change is difficult for all of us.

How much do you want from them?

Whenever possible, you need to place a measurement on what you want from someone. This will help you determine and communicate your expectations. You also give the person the opportunity to measure performance while you monitor progress.

Understanding your expectations of people in the units of measurement can assist you in gauging the feasibility of your expectations.

Measurements of Expectations

Will the person have the appropriate amount of time available to meet goals?

If the measurement of success is money, rather than just setting a monetary goal such as:

Increasing profits by 5%

Reaching a higher sales volume per month

(x amount of dollars)

…breakdown the total dollar amount into units.

A warehouse and production manager with one hundred fifty employees under his supervision had seven employees that were habitually late to work. These employees were all team members on a production line, and held up production by ten to twenty minutes every day.

The manager did not like motivating from a negative stance, but tried reprimanding the employees.  Hs had no results. Then he changed their starting time from six o’clock a.m. to six thirty a.m.  The same seven employees began showing up at six forty to six fifty a.m. each day.

As these seven employees were all above average performers, the manager was not ready to terminate them just yet. He decided to crunch some numbers, and discovered that the delay in start time with other employees on the clock and idle and lost production time was costing the company more than seventy thousand dollars per years. He discussed this with all seven employees individually and posted a notice about the cost of tardiness.  He then began docking the pay of each employee who was late by twice their salaries for every minute behind.

Two of the seven employees immediately changed their behavior and became punctual.

Then after a week, he announced that all employees on any team would be docked for any member not present at the start of the shift.

Four of the remaining five employees stopped showing up late. The remaining employee was eventually terminated.

So in this case some employees were motivated by money, some by peer pressure, and one was not interested.

Here is a secret about motivating people: If the person does not want to change, chances are you will not be able to change them. So the trick is finding what will motivate someone to want to change their behavior.

While planning for success with each person you manage or desire to motivate, you must also determine each person’s point of no return. This is the point when the person is not changing and the energy, time, and money are no longer worth the investment. This was the case in the preceding analogy with the final employee being terminated.  Implementing any more programs specifically for this last person of the group of seven simply was no longer economically feasible. In addition, the behavior of this employee could have a detrimental effect on other employees. After all, if he was allowed to remain employed while ignoring the rules, why maybe there would be no consequences for any of them.

Unfortunately, many people are motivated only by the fear of negative consequences.  This forces a manager to become a disciplinarian.

Why does this person need motivation?

What has worked to motivate this person in the past?

Make sure people have the tools necessary for the projects you assign.

Is this person going to be dependent on the performance of others to meet his or her goals?

In addition, you will be able to better comprehend what you are asking of someone. If the change is difficult, you might want to break down your expectations into units. Your expectations could be difficult because of time restraints,

What do you want from them?

What position do they hold?

Employee Recognition

An important, yet often overlooked, piece of people management is employee recognition and this should be covered in al management training programmes  By rewarding employees for important outcomes that they create for your organization, you are reinforcing actions and behaviors that you want to see not only that person, but other people within your organization repeat multiple times.  Employee recognition is not just a way to show your employees that you’re a nice guy – it is a way to encourage behavior that is advantageous to your company’s success.

In addition, employees who feel that their employers truly care about them and their well-being will produce better results.  In fact, studies have shown that praise from a supervisor ranks higher than money, benefits, or events in conveying that a company values its employees.  Recognizing an employee for work well done is also paramount to retaining that employee.

Employee recognition has been shown to improve communication, productivity, and the workplace environment.  Employees are more motivated to produce desirable outcomes and their motivation influences their colleagues to do the same.  Happier employees also tend to produce happier customers.  Therefore, recognition of a single action of a single employee can have far-reaching benefits.

An effective recognition system will be simple, immediate, and powerful.  All employees should be eligible for recognition.  Communication should be such that everybody understands what specific actions are being recognized.  This communication could take place via a company newsletter, an email announcement, or at a staff meeting.  Never use a reward system in which the recipients are chosen by those higher up the ladder.  These systems end up being viewed as “favoritism” or they become ineffective because employees believe that ‘everybody will get their turn eventually”.

Recognition can be accomplished in a multitude of ways.  Of course, an employee can be verbally signaled out in front of his or her peers.  A letter of recognition may be written and placed in the employee’s file.  A manager might write a personal note and could accompany the note with a gift.  Popular choices for employee recognition gifts are motivational posters, engraved items, gift baskets, organizational logo merchandise, and gift certificates.

Most people get out of bed every day, fight traffic, and report to work because they need money. They don’t necessarily like their jobs. This is the reason more money is not always a motivator for many of these people. Getting more money does not change anything, they still have to get out of bed every morning and go to work.

This is why you’ve got to find out what other factors will motivate your employees. How can you get them to perform better? Some people are motivated by recognition.

Recognition – Awards or Rewards?

There are almost as many ways to keep employees happy and productive as there are employees. But recognizing employees and their efforts will go a long way with most of them. How can you recognize employees and show your appreciation?

While some people are satisfied with as little as a ‘thank you’ or ‘good job’ pat on the back, still others respond to monetary tokens of appreciation.

Recognizing employee accomplishments and dedication in a group setting with a gift card will serve two benefits. The employee will have the acknowledgement of coworkers and the employee will have a moment of private responsiveness when using the gift card.  Some employers like magazine subscriptions as gifts. This is a great reward. If the magazine is relevant to an interest of the employee, they feel personal recognition as the employer or manager put some thought into the gift.  In addition, the employee will be reminded again of this appreciation each month when the magazine arrives.

Be careful not to create only competitive reward programs. This can actually backfire and cause negative feelings among people who feel left out and begin a cycle of blame as they attempt to dismiss their lack of recognition.

Awards can be personally engraved plagues of recognition for employee of the month, salesperson of the month, good attendance, punctuality, years of service, effort above and beyond the call of duty, or simply job well done.

So there are awards and rewards for appreciating employees in the hopes of motivating them, and there are awards and rewards at the end of successful projects or when goals are reached.

If you are announcing an award or reward as a carrot to encourage performance, make sure the criteria is clear and the goal attainable.

Coal May Be the Energy Of the Future

What will be the dominant energy source in the future? Trends are indicating that much of our energy in the future will come from a source you are already familiar with - coal.

According to U.S. Energy Information Administration forecasts, the consumption of coal worldwide will climb by almost 50 percent during the next 24 years.

In fact, coal may become an important source of hydrogen. Hydrogen is the crucial element in the fuel cells that are now beginning to be used in transportation. These fuel cells will also be a part of all types of power for years to come. They work like a battery, but they do not run down or need recharging. In addition these cells have far lower emissions than any combustion process.

Why is coal in high demand? Current supplies of coal could last the world at least two or three centuries, making it the most abundant energy source. Coal is found all over the world, and of all energy sources, coal is one of the most economical. Human beings have used coal as an energy source throughout their existence.

But unfortunately, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. So what are coal's major drawbacks?

The only real drawback with coal is its environmental impact. Thankfully, research and new technology are making coal significantly cleaner and better for the environment.

Sulfur dioxide emission rates for U.S. coal-based power plants were cut by more than 75 percent between 1970 and 2000. In addition, nitrous oxide emission rates were cut in half. Mercury emissions from power generation have now been controlled. And soon the emission of greenhouse gases due to coal will be drastically lowered.

Quest Minerals and Mining Corp. (OTC BB: QMMG.OB), is currently acquiring and reopening properties in the southeastern United States that produce clean-burning coal in compliance with Clean Air Act requirements.

Home Business Opportunities: Where Marketing is King

Whether you're ready to give up the 9-to-5 grind and be your own boss, or whether you're looking for a second income, there are many home business opportunities available today. The widest variety - and some would say most lucrative - income opportunities are found on the Internet. Likewise, the home based business is increasingly based entirely upon online marketing, advertising, networking, and sales. In other words, you never have to leave the comfort of your own home in order to successfully achieve your financial goals.

The Heart of Home Business Opportunities

But at the heart of most of these business opportunities is the MLM, or multi-level marketing approach. An MLM involves what's called an "upline" and a "downline." Your upline consists of the person who introduced you to the home business opportunity (and the person who introduced him or her, and so forth), while your downline consists of the people to whom you introduce to the opportunity (as well as the people to whom they introduce the opportunity, and so forth). In a nutshell, part of the income you generate is paid to your upline, while part of the income your downline generates is paid to you and to your upline.

The success you achieve in an MLM is largely dependent upon your marketing and advertising ability, as well as your ability to close sales. In essence, it's a numbers game. You need a critical mass of leads in order to close enough sales to produce a profit, and to create the downline you need in order to receive passive income from their sales.

Home Business Opportunities that Work FOR You

The traditional MLM involved holding house parties, selling products, and convincing other people to sign up for the home business opportunity. Many people have tried any number of these income opportunities and failed. Why? Because most people aren't natural salespeople, and they have a limited number of contacts. They simply don't have access to the numbers of people necessary to create the substantial downline that's needed to generate residual income.

The new wave of MLMs, however, are Internet based and don't require stocking inventory, holding house parties, or wearing out your welcome with family and friends in an attempt to convince them to buy products or hold parties. Instead, these new home business opportunities utilize the power of the Internet to draw prospective downline members to you. In other words, these are income opportunities that work for you, and that give you an advantage over traditional MLMs.

The Secret to Success

Online home business opportunities utilize the strengths of the Internet. A good opportunity will, for example, give you the tools you need to accomplish the marketing and advertising aspects of your business - without ever having to test the goodwill of your circle of acquaintances. You may, for example, have your own website to which you can drive traffic. An Internet traffic generator can send thousands - or hundreds of thousands - of prospective downline members to your site.

Traditional MLMs fail for many people because we have a hard time closing the sale. In contrast, the new wave of home business opportunities employs a call centre to close all of your prospects for you.

Similarly, Internet-based home business opportunities will often have an expensive means (such as an e-book) of teaching you everything you need to know about harnessing the power of the Internet to achieve your financial goals. This information is invaluable for both the business opportunity you sign up for and for future endeavors.

A home business can provide you with freedom on so many levels - time, money, satisfaction - that it simply makes sense to avail yourself of the new wave of Internet income opportunities.

Plan for Your Future with Home Business Opportunities

If you would like to earn an additional income from home or start your own home based business, there are many home business opportunities available online. You can plan for your future with a home business without losing precious time with your family or spending most of your salary on high gasoline bills and car maintenance costs.

Future Savings

Perhaps you're planning to save a little extra money each month for a future goal - a new car, a new home, college, or retirement. These are great goals and require planning to have successful results; however, working a 9-to-5 job doesn't always provide enough extra income for savings. Most people barely get by on their salaries after paying out for personal monthly bills, groceries, car payments, house payments, daycare, and other expenses.

With online home business opportunities, you might earn a few extra hundred dollars per month or even per week with some businesses. Even $100 per week would add up to a savings of $5,200 per year! It can add up quickly.

Which Home Business Opportunities are Legitimate?

There is a great concern today about which home-based business opportunity is legitimate. Fortunately, you can do a little research and learn from others' experience online. There are many people just like you that are earning a lucrative income on the Web. People make money on the Internet with a variety of talents and interests. They all have one thing in common. They focus on their goals and plan to succeed.

To find legitimate home based business opportunities, you should first check with several reputable job sites. There are websites dedicated to providing a legitimate list of work at home jobs. You may even be required to invest a small amount of money to gain access to their job listings. But before you pay, check out the site through the search engines. Search for the company name to see if other people are talking about them (in a good or bad sense). You'll be surprised at how many people will chat about their experiences with business opportunities in discussion forums and chat rooms.

Multiple Streams of Income for the Future

Another way to build a future with a home business is to create multiple streams of income. You can try several home business opportunities that all flow together. If you stick with related jobs, you'll find it much easier. For instance, operating a drop shipping website that sells candles and a separate gift website might be beneficial because they complement one another. You can operate them separately, but the two are so similar that they can both be promoted using the same methods.

On the other hand, if you try to start an electronics website along with the candle business, you'll find out quickly that it's too scattered - no focus! You'll be working all hours of the day and accomplishing very little.

The key to success with multiple home business opportunities is to be sure they fit together like a glove so you can keep your focus. Once established, you can use these multiple income sources to save for future plans or to quit your day job and work full-time online from home. It's up to you!

Investing for the Future

If you have plans for long-term savings, consider placing your money in an IRA or bonds to earn interest. These will usually earn more interest than a regular savings account but are not as risky as stocks. Also, your IRA will offer many tax benefits. Saving for the short-term is often more difficult because you have easy access to the money at all times. You can create a special bank account for that specific purpose so you won't be tempted with it each time you open your checkbook!

Start developing a plan today.  The right home business opportunity can offer a bright future for you and your family.

Home Business Owner’s Guide to the Free Money Making Opportunity

A home based business must be built on a solid foundation to succeed. When you hear the words "free money making opportunity" you might think it's too good to be true. But in reality, there are many legitimate free money making opportunities that enable you to sign on for free and earn a profitable income from your efforts.

Keep in mind that when a program is free to join, this doesn't automatically mean a free ride. It means you don't have to sign up with a fee to sell their products or their money making opportunities. You can become a promoter of their offer without paying to join. This differs from many network marketing opportunities in which you must pay to be a member or pay to promote their products.

Key Elements of a Free Money Making Opportunity

The key elements to look for in a free money making opportunity are: it's absolutely free to join with no fee now or later; it's a program with a reputable company with a good track record on payments and customer service; it's something you can easily incorporate in your daily schedule and still earn money online. The opportunity should allow flexibility but should also have set guidelines that are explained clearly up front. These guidelines are meant to help you understand the system and know your limitations in promoting their products.

Types of Free Money Making Opportunities

There are many different ways to make money on the Internet. If you have an existing Web business, you might consider selling advertising on your website. Some types of advertising opportunities include contextual ads (such as Yahoo Content Publishing or Google AdSense), banner advertising, e-zine advertising, or pay-per-play ad slots (ads heard on your site, but not seen - for branding companies). With this type of Internet business, you'll earn website money every time you receive a visitor or click through on your site. The more targeted traffic you have, the more you'll earn.

There are also affiliate programs in which you earn money for promoting someone else's products or services from your website. Some programs will set up a website for you so all you'll have to do is promote the Web address they give you. But beware of programs that offer duplicate sites to hundreds or thousands of affiliates. This could hinder your promotions because the competition will be very heavy.

How to Earn Money on the Internet

With a free money making opportunity, your monetary risks are minimal. You'll want to focus on how to promote the business effectively while spending the least amount of money on advertising. Once you find a great business or advertising venue, do research on promotion methods. Some of the most popular are paid searches through major search engines, banner or e-zine advertising, online auctions, article ads, online malls, traffic exchanges, pop-up advertising, and press releases. Test each avenue to find the ones that are effective for your particular business. And remember, no two Internet businesses will be the same.

Once you find some promotional methods that work, then start finding ways to earn a residual income from your efforts. Residual income might come in the form of advertising on your site where you receive monthly checks, affiliate programs that pay over and over for the same customer, or even opportunities where you can earn a lifetime monthly, quarterly, or yearly commission as long as the customer remains with the company.

With a free money making opportunity, you can sign up without worries of losing an initial investment. So start searching online today for that perfect home based business!

WEBconference applications for service

Of course, the users have to read the training material; understandably, the reading can be monotonous. However, producing step-by-step videos for the purpose of instructing does not make economic sense. This is especially difficult if the user seeking assistance is extremely ill-informed.

An after-sales service team puts together technical demonstration online to explore and explain the problem. A panic button on the WEB site connects the client to a meeting room from where the presentation is made, simultaneously, by an agent. The agent might ask the client to go to a specific page of a knowledge database; for example, the one that describes step by step all the steps required to complete anoperation. Also, the usual questions, the FAQ (Frequently  Ask Questions), are put together on prerecorded help clips that the clients can consult, as free service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The audio-visual is without doubt the most powerful of all media. The television and cinema are proof enough for this. The level of comprehension is manifestly superior as is the level of satisfaction of the clientele. By converting part of the technical assistance requests to self-service, the cost per client can be lowered, thus enabling more resources to be available for the more difficult cases. Family Reunion T-shirts

Family reunions can be some of the greatest times for any family.  They bring together different generations and often people from all over the country.  T-shirts for these occasions is one of the most lasting if not best memories.  There are a few things that you should keep in mind when designing your family reunion t-shirt.  You want them to be something that can be cherished and worn by everyone in the family.

Keeping that in mind they should be unique to your family.  They should be fun and reminiscent of the good times not only at the family reunion, but of the family’s life as a whole.  Funny slogans, pictures, etc. are a great idea, but I at least recommend staying away from offensive things.  Remember everyone from the Ally’s new born to Great-Aunt Ellen will be wearing these.  So something PG but clever tends to be the way most people go.  I’ve seen everything from having a tree with names on it to picture of the oldest and younger people in the family superimposed on each other.

Whatever the case, I would urge you to make them your own.  These shirts will be worn by everyone in the family and are a representation of your family.  I know that I wear the t-shirt from my last family reunion all the time.

Another thing to think about is what kind of t-shirts you want to buy.  The truth on this one is that if you go with a good printer it won’t matter.  A good printer will more likely than not only offer high quality t-shirts.  Talk to them and they will let you know whether your individual situation lends itself better to a one hundred percent cotton or a 50/50 blend.

The last thing that you may want to consider is what you want to do as far as ink colors go.  The more colors the more expensive the t-shirts are invariably going to be.  Usually I recommend that you keep your t-shirt designs under three colors.  Just think, every color means a new screen and that has to get added into the cost.

So before your next family reunion, talk it over and get some t-shirts made.  If you are struggling to come up with a design, there are a few screen printers who offer free artwork.  When it’s all said and done, the thing to remember more than anything is that these are your family’s t-shirts.  They are unique and should be something you are proud to wear.

Market Trends Offer New Path to Financial Freedom

With the specter of an economic downturn - and possibly a recession - clearly on the horizon, it's understandable that people are anxious about their financial security and that of their family members. As the rates of unemployment tick upwards, people begin to wonder whether or not their jobs are secure and, if not, what they can do to protect themselves and their families. As a result, there is increasing urgency to look at market trends and find the best path to independence and financial freedom.

To this end, many people are looking for ways to earn a second income, or to lay the foundation for a fallback plan should they lose their primary source of income. Others have decided that their future financial prospects are bleak, and that they need to embrace an opportunity that will enable them to get back on their feet. Still others have ridden the wave of past market trends and have found financial success, and are ready to jump on board the next opportunity that will enable them to reap tremendous rewards - in the form of residual income - over the years to come.

High Demand Services

Success with any opportunity - whether it is related to cause marketing or is a home business - is predicated upon the need for high demand services. These are services that will be necessary even in the face of an economic downturn or recession. Just as electricity, natural gas, and telephone services were the "must-haves" of decades past, the high demand services of today and tomorrow revolve around technology. Specifically, the high demand services will be those that counteract the deleterious effects of the Information Age - namely identity theft and computer problems.

It's inarguable that identity theft is a serious problem; after all, more than thirty people have their identities stolen every minute. And, while personal computer ownership is at an all-time high, most people simply don't know how to keep their personal computers safe and secure. Services that will take care of each of those problems are positioned to rack up unprecedented sales in the months and years to come - regardless of the state of the economy. Indeed, as more people rely on computers and the Internet to earn their livings, their need for such services exponentially increases.

Best Chances of Success

The people who are best positioned to reap financial rewards from these market trends come from a variety of backgrounds. For example, information services professionals and hobbyists would do well, as would those with experience in sales and marketing. Those people who already own a sole proprietorship could easily add these kinds of products to their websites and begin earning immediate and residual information.

Where to Look

If you're interested in taking advantage of the latest market trends, you need to partner with a company who is as eager for you to attain your goal of financial freedom as you are. To that end, select a company that has a proven track record, has a generous compensation plan, and that can provide you with a turnkey business system. When you do, you can help protect your personal finances from the economic ebb, while positioning yourself for true wealth.

CD Replication: An Affordable Way to Get Your Voice Heard

Whether you're a motivational speaker in search of an audience, a musician in search of a recording label, or a company in search of customers, using CDs or DVDs is an extremely effective means of communicating your message. Marketing and advertising professionals understand the power of audio and video to leave a lasting impression, and frequently insert CDs or DVDs into mass mailings, magazine polybags, and press kits. They know something that those who are just making a name for themselves aren't aware of: CD duplication and DVD replication isn't as expensive as it might seem.

Whether you're putting together your own press mailing, developing a demo CD to send to movers and shakers, wish to sell video of your performance, or want to showcase your products and services, you can add an extra touch of professionalism by working with a company that specializes in CD and DVD duplication. When it comes to cost, it works like other forms of printing: the higher the quantity, the lower the per-piece price.

For example, if you want to produce a CD in a printed cardboard sleeve, you could get 1,000 made for about a dollar a piece. Up the quantity to 10,000, and the price drops to around 56 cents a piece. This price typically includes replicated discs with full-color offset or silkscreen printing, a printed cardboard sleeve, insertion, and shrinkwrap.

Bulk quantities of CDs and DVDs are even less expensive. One thousand CDs run only about 45 cents each, while DVDs are priced as low as $650 per thousand, or 65 cents per DVD. As for packaging, a printed paper sleeve adds only about seven cents per CD or DVD, while a jewel case is about 20 cents per case.

DVD box packaging is also an option at around $1.20 per DVD for 1,000, and about 67 cents per piece for 10,000. This kind of replication and packaging typically includes printing, a full-color case wrap, assembly, and overwrap. A top spine label generally costs a few cents more.

If you're planning to do a mailing, you can use a CD replication service that will duplicate your CD, then insert it into a cardboard mailer and shrinkwrap it. Pricing for the replicated discs and mailers runs about $1.60 each for 1,000, or about 50 cents each for 10,000.

If you want to go the extra step and take advantage of cutting-edge technology, the best DVD and CD duplication services have products like FlexDVD, which is a DVD that can bend without snapping or cracking. This is perfect for cover mounting and mass mailings. Another new and intriguing technology is called "Rub 'n Smell," whereby a scent is embedded into a varnish that covers the printed side of the disc and is activated when the recipient rubs the disc's label. Now, that's the sweet smell of success!

The bottom line, though, is that whether you're marketing yourself or your business, you can take advantage of the same techniques that huge marketing firms use - without breaking the bank.

Offshore Gaming Update July 2007

Offshore Banks - Offshore banks in numerous jurisdictions have agreed to close bank accounts belonging to firms operating online gaming businesses. Included in this decision were some of the larger offshore jurisdictions. This will make it harder for the offshore gaming sites to accept payments. If they can get a credit card processor they need a bank for the credit card processor to wire the funds into. Offshore gaming may soon become extinct but it is definitely on the endangered species list. Panama banks have not opened new accounts for offshore gaming sites for some time now. Most of the sites are licensed in jurisdictions like Costa Rica.

Neteller Forfeits $136,000,000 - Neteller in the interest of avoiding prosecution by the USA for violating their online gaming laws by facilitating payments from Americans for illegal gambling has agreed to the loss of the money. It seems they will be allowed to remain in business and will be monitored to ascertain that they are not doing business with any Americans. After 18 months of monitoring if they come up clean they will have all their charges dropped. They are facing criminal charges. Now which will be dropped if all goes well. I expect the monitoring involves the USA looking over some records and ID documents of account holders.

Offshore Gaming Outlook - Seems pretty bleak to me. The real problem for the gaming industry is the payment solution. If they can solve that they may flourish but I doubt they can solve this. All payment solutions lead to a bank account and now the banks are cutting them off.

Online Gambling in Panama - Not going to work. No bank account and expensive licenses.

Sell Trucking Company – Steps to Sell Carrier Company

If you are decided to sell trucking company, you need to emphasize on a couple of key factors that govern the worth of your business. Ahead of planning to sell trucking company you should decide whether to sell entire assets of the company which includes real estates, if applicable, maintenance infrastructure apart from the fleet. The next critical step for you would be to have the assets appraised by an approved appraiser in your region.

Preparations to Sell Trucking Company

In addition to asset’s worth it is essential that essential to factor in the audit reports of at least previous five years along with projections for the future. This forms the foundation for compiling the selling price.

Secondary line of preparations includes upkeep and renewal of relevant licenses of your business and trucks. Besides, decide to what extent you are prepared to negotiate and what assistance or sops you would like to offer the buyer.

Planning To Sell Trucking Company

First off, involve your accountant at every critical step. This helps you check if the sale is drifting away from worth based paradigm to asset based one. Remember, the asset based paradigm doesn’t take into account the future earning potential which benefits the buyer; however, if your company is not making profit in previous years, you have not many choices.

Steps to Sell Trucking Company

Steps to sell trucking company are not very specific excluding a few factors, such as selling to your peers and higher depreciation factors unlike selling real estate. Here are a few steps specific to sell trucking company that stand as guidelines.

1.     Instead of directly approaching prospective buyers, it is prudent on your part to spread the word that you want to sell trucking company in the industry circle. As experience tells, this kicks up speculative valuation and sort of insulates you from having to hard defend your sale price.

2.     Float announcements that you want to sell trucking company in local newspapers and/or internet. Screen the purchase offers based on criteria like offer, buyer’s reputation and ability to manage additional fleet etc.

3.     Setup negotiations with screened buyers but take care not to give in to discount demands. Sticking to your price (albeit with a little flexibility) is a proven strategy which hardly backfires.

4.     Be specific with the buyers about your obligations, whatever they are, on re-registration responsibilities and its cost, typically if you want to sell trucking company to an interstate buyer.

5.     Be practical over payment terms, higher the down payment better but be judgmental based on your instincts.

Finally, it is prudent not to sell trucking company to an unknown party even if the offer is lucrative.

How Switchplates Can Turn a Room from Dreary to Dazzling in Seconds

There are no two people alike in the world, so no two people have the same taste.  Why is it then that the majority of homes have plain, white switchplates?

Switchplates have been around since the days of indoor electricity.  They cover an open area in a wall where a light switch is in place, making the area look neat as a pin as it covers the exposed wires, all while assisting in a hazard free area.  The originals were quite hideous, usually made of a boxy style wood block, not meant for any sort of decorative purpose at all, just for practical use.

We’ve certainly come a long way, as the days of your grandmother’s tarnished, brass switchplates, with the preamble to the constitution engraved on the top seem like a past dream (or nightmare) .  They can really be quite a beneficial art form, for everyone with electricity needs to have a switchplate for safety reasons, so why on earth would you want to have the same exact, boring one that everyone else has?

Traditionally, decorative switchplates have been found in children’s bedrooms, nurseries, and the occasional bathroom.  But why stop there?

There aren’t many things more boring than a plain, drab wall. A solid, eggshell-colored wall with a plain white switchplate - I need to get an espresso just for thinking about it.  You need a splash of color and some decorative art to give your home the character it needs - it should reflect the personality of its resident - it should reflect you. Why not combine the color and the art into a snazzy, un-boring switchplate cover?

A bathroom full of frogs or a kitchen accented with wine bottles and grapes can both easily have the finishing touch of a not boring switchplate.  If you can’t find the exact pattern to match what you already have, please, at least change the color of the switchplate to coordinate or compliment the rest of the room… don’t leave it white.

At any rate, switchplates are a quick, simple addition to turn a dull and dreary room into a dazzling den that’s as easy as flipping a switch.

Why are paid surveys so popular?

The new concept of getting paid for giving your honest opinion seems to be too good to be true – well its not. Not only the person taking part benefits but the company benefits on a whole as it leads to better and improved products that sell. Most people tend you use these surveys as extra cash source or a good paid hobby you can do in the comfort of your own home at your own pace. I wouldn't recommend doing them full time as there not stable enough and would be hard to get into the thousands bracket but the hundreds if definitely realistic for anyone.

They are so popular because of the fact that anyone can do them; the only restriction may be your country as some companies make the surveys country specific but if you look hard enough there are plenty out there which you can take part in. I would say the main feature that appeals to everyone is the fact of being able to work in your night wear at 3:00am in the morning (or which ever time suits you). It's the flexibility that will grab your attention as you work when you want and for how long you want which is everyone's dream job right? The thing is you need to allow yourself some free time as the fact of working and getting paid for as long as you want can be tempting to work non-stop to earn loads of extra cash, I know I would be. Too much work can have negative effects and will harm your body so it's vital that you rest, eat well and take time off from work to do other activities. Aside from that its ideal for stay at home mums or people that cannot go to work due to illness or disability as they don't need to attend interviews or make the effort to get out the house and be somewhere for a certain time. Simply get up when you want and you can fit these paid surveys into your current lifestyle. If it's only a few a day it will still bring in some extra money which is always a bonus. When its said you work as much as you want it doesn't mean you login to your account and pick surveys that you feel like doing, you will get a flood of emails to your inbox with surveys ready to be taken but don't feel like you have to do them all, simply pick a selection and do those. If you have more time do a few more but any other just delete them. There are so many people taking part on paid surveys the quota will more then likely be satisfactory for the client. You should not have to pay to take part in paid surveys so be careful with the companies that require a start up fee, make sure you start with a decent company and you will be well on your way to making that extra cash you've always wanted.

Should You Use Sales Letters Before You Cold Call

Remember the numbers game? Well, that is the same thought behind sending out sales letters. The hope is that with every hundred or so letters, a few sales will result.

If you don’t know how to make a call from scratch and build trust, it seems to make sense to rely on a letter, brochure, or e-mail to do the job. But once you learn how to cold call the right way - with the new mindset - you’ll realize that sales letters really aren’t any help at all.

Here are four reasons to consider making cold calls without referring to a sales letter:

1. You get pegged as a traditional salesperson right away

When you start your cold call by referring to a sales letter, you’re following a traditional sale and marketing technique. This indicates to potential clients that you’re a traditional salesperson.

Do you really want to be associated with something that brings up painful memories of sales pressure? Better to break out of that negative salesperson stereotype entirely, and offer something new.

2. People just don’t read sales letters all that much

The hope is that potential clients have seen your sales letter before you call. From among all the other letters that arrived on their desk that day, you hope they’ve read yours (which is unlikely), and remembered it (even more unlikely).

The idea is that when you call, they already know what the call is about.

However almost no one reads sales letters. If they do, they remember them only vaguely.

3. Cold calling conversations are harder to initiate

Most people take it for granted that it makes sense to send out a letter before cold calling. They think this gives them something to start speaking about. They can say, "I sent you a letter, did you get that?"

Nevertheless, when you call, these are the reactions you typically get:

• What letter/e-mail?

• What was it about?

• Sorry - I don’t remember seeing it. What are you selling?

You may as well not have sent out the letter at all. Saying, "Hi, I’m just calling to see if you got my letter?" does nothing to move the conversation forward or to generate two-way dialogue. You’re still at square one.

4. A sales letter makes you talk about yourself first

When you start your cold call by explaining what a sales letter was about, you’re talking about yourself, your product, and your company.

This is exactly what we’re trying to avoid in the new cold calling mindset. We want to talk about how to solve their problems first, not about what we’re selling.

Isn’t it true that sales letters, brochures, and e-mails focus entirely on your company and your product or service, rather than on solving a particular client’s specific, individual problems? It’s essentially just an advertisement that you’re referring to. Moreover, you’ve lost the opportunity to be seen by your potential client now as a problem solver.

You’re just another salesperson who’s only interested in making a sale.

So what do we do?

Suppose your marketing manager sent out several letters or e-mails and you need to follow up. How would you open that conversation? By simply making your cold call without mentioning the letter. Just because your company sent out the letters or e-mails doesn’t mean you have to refer to them. In most cases, the letters are only going to hurt you, not help you.

Basically, if you have to follow up on a sales letter, then treat the cold call as usual and don’t refer to the letter at all. You’ll find that you won’t be tagged with the "telemarketer" stigma, and you avoid being pulled into the numbers game. At the end of the day, you’ll feel much more satisfied with your cold calling approach. You’ll be able to continue moving forward, firmly anchored in the new cold calling mindset.

Here Is Your 100% Money-Back Guarantee

Review: Salgado Investigations

Salgado Investigations was founded by Jorge Salgado in early 2006, the company is based in Croydon South London. I asked Jorge how he first got into the world of private investigation. He informed me, he was a bit of a rebel in his younger days, he started off his working life with a short stint at his local Cinema. This was followed by finding work as a security guard; Jorge quickly found his feet in this line of work and progressed to become a store detective. Jorge continued to distinguish himself from his peers and moved up the chain to becoming a retail undercover investigator at Heathrow Airport and later was appointed as the security manager at WH Smiths.

In 2006 Jorge decided it was time to take a gamble, this led to him setting up his own private detective agency. It is normal for people to struggle when they first set up their own business, Jorge was no exception. In the first 6 months he found it very difficult to source a steady stream of clients. From late 2006 however things started to improve as clients started to appear on a more regular basis.

Jorge is passionate about his work; he continually strives to improve his own personal knowledge base as well as developing his website. He views this as crucial, especially in light of new licensing legislation that is expected to be introduced within the next 12 months. His clients are obviously happy with the level of service as he receives many referrals and recommendations.

Salgado Investigations offer an array of services, these include

• Process Servers

• Tracing Agents & People Finders

• Loss Prevention Investigators

• Matrimonial & Infidelity Surveillance

• Insurance & Personal Injury Detectives

• Computer Forensics Unit - CFU

Jorge spends a lot of time networking with other small business owners at 4Networking, what I personally like is Jorge puts a lot of time into this networking group however due to the nature of his work, it seldom results in him sourcing clients, this is testament to his true character.

I wish Jorge all the best for the future, I am aware he has some interesting ideas for his companies’ development and improvement. I am sure his hard working ethos and determined attitude will serve him well in positioning his business at the forefront of the UK’s private investigation sector.

A New Beginning for Coal

This is the 21st century. Why are we burning little black rocks to charge our laptops and cell phones?

Because after years of mine shutdowns and declining prices, the coal industry is making a prosperous return.

In the early 1900s, coal was the nation's major fuel source, supplying almost 90 percent of its energy needs, according to the Department of Energy.

When the cleaner, more efficient petroleum and natural gas came into play, the demand for coal declined. Today, nearly 55 percent of the nation's electricity is generated using coal, and the numbers are growing, according to the World Coal Institute.

Even though perceptions of the coal industry have changed dramatically over the years, coal maintains its vital role in the world's energy mix for many reasons. It is easy and safe to transport, it remains far cheaper than natural gas, and it is abundantly available.

But it wasn't until natural gas prices shot up and California was held back by blackouts that the coal industry took center stage. For decades, it seemed to be dying. But with easing of pollution controls, the Bush Administration began to establish the groundwork for a resurgence of coal-fired power across the nation.

In 1999, natural gas was the most expensive fossil fuel, petroleum was second and coal was the least expensive, according to the Department of Energy. Although the cost of generating electricity from coal has increased through the years, it is still lower than the cost of generating electricity from either natural gas or petroleum.

As for cleaner air, coal has long been unpopular with environmentalists who argue the fossil fuel produces the greatest amount of mercury and carbon dioxide emission, associated with global warming. Current energy bills, however, propose clean coal power initiatives, which would implement high-tech ways to reduce pollution when electricity is generated from coal.

Today, mines that were closed in the 1990s after a downturn in coal prices are being reopened in Southeastern United States. Quest Minerals and Mining (OTC BB: QMMG.OB) is acquiring and reopening properties that produce coal in compliance with Clean Air Act requirements. According to Quest, coal emitting less than 1.2 pounds of sulfur dioxide per million BTU, commonly referred to as "low-sulfur coal" is currently trading at more than $50 per ton.

Four Indicators to Watch When Outsourcing During a Recession

When making decisions about IT offshore outsourcing, the state of the U.S. economy looms large. The effect of exchange rates, interest rates, IT employment levels and even domestic commercial office vacancy rates will affect your onshore, offshore or nearshore strategy. America is growing more and more dependent on lower cost offshore services. So what is an offshoring decision-maker to do about controlling cost in this U.S. economic downturn?  That depends on how the economic cycle affects your business. Because consumer spending leads the economy up and down, recent weakness at Tiffney and Target suggests both ends of the consumer spectrum are being affected, so we may be early in the cycle. In his article “Understanding the Economy” (Inc. Magazine in December 2007) Joseph H. Ellis says, “People worry that a recession is coming. But buy the time one arrives, most economic harm has already happened.” He says don’t be afraid to do your own economic detective work. You may gain a new perspective in cyclical patterns and cause-and-effect relationships you didn’t realize existed. Here are four indicators to consider.

Exchange rates: Analyses of major IT software outsourcing destinations reveals that most of their currencies appreciated against the US dollar substantially. This resulted in either a higher cost for clients or lower earnings for offshore providers. In a country like India that claims 70 percent of the international business process outsourcing market, the Indian Rupee gained about 11% on the dollar from an average exchange rate of 44.21 Rupees per dollar in January 2007 to a monthly average of 39.37 in December of 2007.   Currencies in nearshore outsourcing destinations like Canada and Brazil also saw a sharp appreciation against the dollar of 15% and 16% respectively from January to December 2007.  This represents increased cost to you the buyer or lost revenue to the outsourcer.  When reviewing your outsourcing strategy, currency exchange rate risk is something both parties to the agreement need to discuss and not just hope for the best.

Interest rates: Rates can go up, down, or stay the same. Sometimes we overlook the basics. The Federal Reserve seems to be trying to keep interest rates artificially low but that is exacerbating the dollar’s decline. The results are always inflationary. Should they fight inflation, interest rates will increase and this will raise the dollar. If you need capital, time may be running out on low cost borrowing even if you can get it. Keep cash at the short end of the yield curve to protect against eventual higher rates. When reviewing your strategy keep in mind that if the government’s adjustment to interest rates strengthens the dollar, your offshore services will get cheaper, however, if you use short-term borrowing to make payroll, your cost of onsite services will surely rise.

IT employment: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistic’s, computer software engineers are one of the occupations projected to grow the fastest and add the most new jobs from 2006-2016. Employment levels for computer professionals are currently at one of the highest points in recorded history with un-employment in this profession reported at around just 2%. It is possible that outsourcing to other countries may somewhat temper this employment growth. Many firms will cut cost by outsourcing to foreign countries that have lower prevailing wages and highly educated workers. However, high quality jobs in software engineering require computer professionals with strong programming skills, systems analysis and interpersonal skills. Therefore rising wage pressure will become a long-term strategic issue, whether you are attempting to staff professionals domestically in a job market at near full employment or you are attempting to staff offshore where experienced professionals are demanding higher wages in their currencies against a weaker trending dollar.

Office space:  IT staff augmentation requires additional office space somewhere. On the first Monday of 2008, real estate research firm Reis reported that U.S. office vacancy rates rose for the first time in four years. Completions rose to 19.6 million square feet in the forth quarter, the highest level in almost seven years vs. 8 to 12 million over the last couple of years. This is the first time since the forth quarter of 2004 that effective rent growth has fallen short of asking rent growth and concessions have widened.   In this market it might be cheaper than ever to lease additional office space for an expanding IT services and development team. But facilities are always a part of the cost equation.  When developing an offshore vs. onshore strategy look at all your cost including facilities, utilities, network access, and other costs associated with housing a large or small team. Some emerging markets like Panama have an excellent infrastructure and government policies that are designed to encourage technology businesses to use facilities there.

No matter where you are in the cycle, cutting costs and improving quality is always a goal. Outsourcing can help you to reach that objective. There is a clear growing trend for companies, regardless of their size and industry, to outsource an element of their business. George Schildge, president of CEO of Matrix Marketing Group Inc. believes outsourcing is not a passing fad but clearly a paradigm shift that can change a business model for the better. Two themes for software development trends in 2008, according to, are that outsourcing will continue to effect more people and business analysts and project managers will need to learn how to face the challenges of distribution across countries and continents. Bas de Baar, project manager and author of “Surprise! Now You’re a Software Project Manager” says Different cultures, different time zones different languages, different customs will impact software projects more than in previous years.

Profiting this year will require different strategies. Outsourcing will become a bigger part of the equation so do your homework now and act to stay ahead of the curve.

The Price Tag of Incorporation: Fees

The Price Tag of Incorporation: Fees

A lot of benefits await a company that's about to incorporate, but there's a price to it all. A hefty price in fact. Incorporation is a long and sometimes grueling process. It also happens to be an expensive one. In particular, a company will face fees for incorporating – all this means is a company can't really incorporate on its own; it often needs the help of an outside service to efficiently incorporate. There are steps you must take both before and after incorporation that require a lot of paperwork and changes to your business structure.

Basically, there are three ways you can incorporate. Are you a staunch do-it-yourselfer? If you know what you're doing, you can save yourself a lot of money by incorporating yourself. But that's not an easy task and most prefer to turn to an incorporation service or an attorney to guide them through the process. Some companies offer more complete incorporation services than others and typically, the upfront fees you are quoted won't be all you end up paying out – there are many hidden costs. There's another added factor that will affect your incorporation fees: your state. What state are you incorporating in? Each state has different filing fees.

Just as you would shop around for a car, or any relatively pricey product for that matter, you need to do the same for an incorporation service. There are unfortunately many bad deals out there and you don't want to fall victim to a scheme. Read the fine print, ask about hidden costs, and make sure the services offered will lead to full, and not just partial, incorporation.

Also, consider the friendliness of the staff as a point of major importance. Incorporation is a complicated and serious step for a company to take and it must not be done casually. It's best if you have a team of people skilled in incorporation on your side, ready and willing to answer every question and address every concern you have. Incorporation poses different problems for different companies and that's why your incorporation service (or attorneys) must be in tune with your company's individual struggles.

In fact, you may very well be advised not to incorporate as you comparison shop for an incorporation service! It's not beneficial for every company to incorporate and if you can avoid the fees, why not?

But you're probably wondering... what do these incorporation fees cover? What goes into incorporation exactly and why is it so expensive? Here are a set of tasks a good incorporation service will handle:

·      State filing fees

·      State recording fees

·      Search for a name for the soon-to-be corporation

·      Certificate of Incorporation preparation

·      Filing the many important documents for incorporation

Furthermore, incorporation fees include that of forming the corporation and also a limited liability company. So keep that in mind as you think about the price of incorporation.

Do you feel even more confused now? The uncomfortable fact is incorporation is far from an easy thing to do, but there are a lot of services out there dedicated to making it a convenient option for your company. But it does have a cost! Even after you incorporate, you'll still have more paperwork and jobs to do to keep your corporation in good standing. Chances are these pesky incorporation fees will be worth it in the long run, but only if you choose a good service.
